September 18, 2024Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.

Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

Perform variance analysis

Maintains the accuracy of the balance sheet and income statement assigned accounts on a US GAAP accrual basis.

Innovate and refine accounting procedures and systems to align with the company’s expansion objectives.

Prepares all requested documentation for annual internal and external audits
Required Skills/Abilities
-
Thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures, with ability to train others in related practices and procedures.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
-
Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software. Job Summary:
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
-
3+ years of related experience required.
-
Prior experience in general ledger close role, or public accounting experience and/or prior experience working with outside auditors is a plus
