Tax director – 9990

Our Public Accounting client in McKinney is hiring a Tax Director. This is a hybrid role whose responsibility is to manage the tax practice, set policy, review returns, collaborate with our business services teams. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the tax team- training, developing and ensuring CPE goals are met
• Review work of the team including partnership, s-corporation, trust, and personal income tax returns
• Set Guidelines, Policies and Procedures
• Manage metrics for staff (billable time) and tax services (revenue, growth and profitability) as a whole – managing, monitoring and reviewing business operations and margin

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• ?Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing
• QuickBooks experience
• Minimum 10-15 years experience as a CPA in public accounting and/or industry
• 5-10 years supervisory and review experience
• CCH Prosystems, CCH Axcess Workflow (XCM), Microsoft Office
