Our client in Addison is looking for their next HR Generalist. This person will serve as the day-to-day HR partner for Store Managers across an assigned region, providing guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, HR policies, recruiting, and other people-related matters.
What You’ll Do
Regional HR Partnership
- Serve as the day-to-day HR partner for Store Managers throughout the assigned region.
- Provide support to Store Managers on routine employee relations matters, performance management, corrective action, attendance, policy interpretation, and day-to-day workplace concerns, escalating more complex or sensitive issues as appropriate.
- Assist Store Managers throughout assigned region to develop recruiting strategies, support day-to-day hiring needs, and ensure positions are filled with quality talent in a timely manner.
- Support investigations and partner with HR Operations when appropriate.
- Build strong relationships with operational leaders through regular communication and store visits.
- Support organizational changes and company initiatives within the region.
Recruiting & Candidate Experience
- Monitor recruiting metrics, identify trends, research best practices, and recommend improvements to increase hiring effectiveness, reduce time-to-fill, and enhance candidate quality.
- Manage and optimize recruiting workflows, processes, and reporting within Paycom.
- Develop and maintain recruiting resources, interview guides, and hiring best practices for leaders across the organization.
- Evaluate recruiting vendors, sourcing methods, and hiring tools, providing recommendations to HR leadership for continuous improvement.
Talent & Organizational Support
- Assist the Director, Human Resources with succession planning and talent reviews.
- Support leadership development initiatives and gain exposure to organizational development practices.
- Partner on performance review processes and annual talent planning activities.
- Analyze workforce trends within the assigned region and share observations that help improve leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and business results.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or a related field) OR 1–3 years of Human Resources Support experience
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow into a strategic HR Business Partner role.
- Ability to communicate with managers on HR policies, performance concerns, attendance, and other routine employee matters.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom experience is a plus).
- Travel in this role is minimal; however opportunities to visit stores to provide HR support may arise.
