Our client, a well-established and growing consumer products company in the beauty and wellness industry, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team onsite. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending traditional FP&A responsibilities with business intelligence and data visualization work. The position will play a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, KPI development, and Power BI dashboard creation to support executive decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial analysis, forecasts, and management reports to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for finance, sales, and leadership teams
- Build and automate recurring reports, scorecards, and data visualizations to improve reporting efficiency and visibility into business performance
- Develop and maintain financial models and BI tools to support customer, product, pricing, and profitability analysis
- Analyze sales, margin, discounting, marketing spend, and product mix to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Create, monitor, and refine KPIs and metrics aligned with financial and operational performance
- Partner cross-functionally to improve forecasting accuracy, budgeting processes, and data quality across reporting systems
- Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights and executive-level presentations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to financial processes, reporting workflows, and business intelligence capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, business analytics, or a related role
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions
- Knowledge of DAX preferred
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) preferred
- Experience within consumer products, manufacturing, beauty, or wholesale environments is a plus
