In this role, you will support our growing company by managing the accounting and finance functions for an assigned region. You’ll handle daily and monthly accounting activities, prepare forecasts and KPI reporting, and provide timely financial insights to management and operations teams. Our accounting and finance team will provide training and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and document financial transactions and journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet, cash flow, and P&L variance analyses for each location.
- Produce financial reports for operations, including KPI and variance analyses.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies through account analysis.
- Develop financial forecasts and monthly reporting packages for investors.
- Maintain general ledger accounts; prepare monthly, adjusting, and recurring journal entries and reconciliations.
- Reconcile credit card activity and resolve discrepancies.
- Support internal accounting functions and provide documentation for external auditors and tax professionals.
- Prepare ad?hoc financial reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
- Perform additional duties to support a high?growth accounting organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum four years of general ledger accounting experience.
- Strong analytical, problem?solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Excel with interest in continued skill development.
- Comfortable working with large data sets for GL entries and variance analysis.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of a multi?state organization.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast?paced environment.
