Our CPA consulting firm client with offices in Brentwood, TN (Nashville area) and McKinney, TX (Dallas area) is looking for a Tax Associate for their McKinney office.. Their services include accounting, payroll, human resources, forecasting, tax and CFO advisory. The firm also provides tax advisory and preparation for individuals. The Tax Associate who will report to a Tax Services Manager and eventually work hybrid.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Accounting support – A/P, AR, Reconciliations, Financial Statement Preparation
- Request, collect, and compile all necessary documents
- Accurately prepare partnership, s-corporation, trust, and personal income tax returns
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Keep highly organized, updated client files through preset firm guidelines and processes
- Provide excellent client service
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- ?Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in public accounting
- Exceptional computer skills, including CCH Prosystems or Axcess, Quickbooks, Excel and other financial tools
- Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
- Team player who can work independently
