- Assume responsibility for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving accounting issues and discrepancies.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and propose necessary journal entries to support the balances.
- Analyze and manage information from 3rd party accounting group.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close process.
- Prepare payments for accruing expenses, assigning account numbers, and requesting disbursements.
- Research accounts payable issues, communicate with vendors, and take any required corrective action.
- Assist in payroll processing as necessary.
- Participate in the financial set-up of new locations.
- Special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of job-related experience.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Restaurant or hospitality industry experience a plus.
- Experience with accounting systems, databases, and reporting tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- NetSuite experience a plus.
