The Senior Financial Analyst will be pivotal in developing and enhancing financial reporting processes and materials for Grabagun internal and external stakeholders, partnering with operations, business owners, and functional leaders. This position will offer a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing and dynamic environment and would be a key member of our FP&A team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain integrated three-statement financial models that tie together P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow with full driver-based logic. Models must support scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and direct use in board and investor materials.
- Own the rolling forecast process – design the cadence, structure, and inputs from the ground up. Partner with department leaders to capture forward-looking drivers and translate them into financial projections that update on a defined recurring basis.
- Produce board-level and executive presentations – translate financial analysis into clear, decision-ready narratives. Comfort building decks that hold up in front of board members, lenders, and investors is required, not optional.
- Support all aspects of financial analysis – management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial close activities, and strategic projects.
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports, monitor performance versus company goals, and understand business drivers to identify areas of improvement.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports as well as automated dynamic dashboards.
- Partner with operations, business owners, and functional leaders on cost center management, headcount planning, and business initiative support.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to form recommendations with clear distinction between facts and opinions to support project evaluations and business decisions.
- Improve financial transparency with business partners to increase planning and reporting accuracy.
- Actively contribute to the ongoing ERP implementation and the build-out of financial systems and planning tools. This includes reporting hierarchy decisions, integration with downstream BI tools, and data validation. Prior experience implementing or significantly enhancing an ERP (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar) is helpful.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with focus in finance, accounting, math, or economics.
- 2+ years of work experience in early-stage growth company, retail or public company experience is desired.
- 4+ years in accounting and/or FP&A related experience, clear/strong understanding of financial statements and relevant accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively and timely manage, collaborate with, and influence key stakeholders.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with FP&A systems / ERP systems as well as BI tools, SQL , and data warehouses are plus.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
