Audit Senior
Our client is currently seeking a Audit Staff or Senior Auditor to join their growing Austin-based accounting practice. Are you looking for Big 4 challenges without the Big 4 hours? This may be your next career opportunity!
We perform a significant majority of our audits remotely. But depending on client requirements, we sometimes travel to client locations. We have a flexible work environment, annual performance bonuses and company paid health insurance benefits for full-time employees. The Audit Staff or Senior Auditor must be meticulous and analytical, with deep knowledge of auditing practices. We expect you to be reliable, with strong organizational skills, as well as expertise in risk management and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the auditing process
- Allocate responsibilities to junior and staff auditors
- Review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance
- Perform effective risk and control assessments
- Complete audits on time and submit reports to auditing manager
- Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience as an Auditor, with 4+ years of experience to be considered for the senior auditor title
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance; master’s degree is a plus
- In-depth understanding of auditing, GL processes, and GAAP
- Updated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Proficient in Excel and general accounting software
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- CPA preferred, but not required
- Integrity and reliability
