Senior Accounting Manager 10243 – CPA Required
As Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the accounting activities for several locations through a solid understanding of business processes, systems, and an in-depth knowledge of current generally accepted accounting principles and guidance. The role will supervise two Senior Accountants, and will report to the Director of Business Unit Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate monthly accounting, close processes and financial reporting for multiple medical locations, internal service and administrative departments and ancillary businesses
• Supervise, develop, and retain professional accounting staff
• Provide financial liaison support to operational colleagues ensuring appropriate accounting of activity and meaningful analysis in support of operational strategies
• Manage monthly joint venture accounting and reporting
• Ensure compliance with current accounting controls and procedures
• Identify opportunities to streamline the accounting processes
• Provide guidance and support for financial audits by liaising with the external auditors
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and accrual accounting
• Communicate and work with all levels of Corporate management

Requirements

• CPAs Only
• 5+ years experience in managing full-cycle accounting
• Public Accounting experience highly preferred
• Experience with multilocation or partnerships accounting preferred
• Experience with Oracle, UKG, NetSuite, Hyperion a plus
