Our client in McKinney is seeking Seasonal Tax Preparers. The firm provides tax advisory and preparation for individuals.
This is the perfect schedule for a someone wanting Summer and Holiday months off. The position will report to the McKinney location if/when in-office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Position is seasonal, part-time, approximately 1000 hours/year. Hours during February-April and August – October.
- Request, collect, and compile all necessary tax documents
- Accurately prepare partnership, s-corporation, trust, and personal income tax returns
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelors in Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing – preferred
- QuickBooks experience
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a CPA in public accounting
- Business and personal tax experience
- Exceptional computer skills, including CCH Prosystems
