The Operations Controller will be responsible for optimizing the home builders day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflows, while managing resources and identifying areas for process improvement to achieve efficiency and cost savings. This role will report to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify trends, deviations and potential issues.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
- Monitor and analyze operational costs to identify areas for cost savings.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance and key metrics.
- Manage and coordinate major projects and initiatives.
- Over see construction process, manage inventory and ensure quality controls.
- Participate in operational budgets and financial targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 5+ years in the Construction industry
- CPA or MBA highly preferred
- Experience in project management and strategic planning
- Experience with financial analysis and financial software such as Excel, Access
