May 22, 2025Job Description: Manager – Sales Analytics
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Analytics Manager to lead high-impact sales analysis, process improvement, and reporting initiatives. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance and Analytics, this role is critical in optimizing our B2B sales motions through data-driven insights and innovative process enhancements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on proactive leader and doer, with a strong analytical mindset, capable of quickly grasping our sales processes and driving measurable improvements to boost performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Performance Reporting: Design and deliver high-visibility reports on sales performance, highlighting top performers, trends, and actionable insights for deployment across the B2B sales department.
· Sales Process Analysis & Optimization: Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in sales motions.
· Process Innovation: Develop and implement creative strategies to refine sales processes, leveraging analytical insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales and Operations teams to align enablement strategies with business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
· Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize proven and advanced analytical techniques to monitor sales KPIs, forecast trends, and recommend data-backed process improvements.
· Training & Enablement: Create and deploy tools, resources, and training programs to empower the sales team with insights and best practices.
Qualifications
· Experience: 5+ years in sales enablement, sales operations, or business analytics, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and impactful reporting.
· Analytical Expertise: Advanced/expert skills in MS Excel. Plus advanced proficiency in other data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and experience interpreting complex datasets to drive business decisions.
· Results Driven: proven experience demonstrating passion and drive for results and successful outcomes.
· Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of B2B sales motions, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to our unique business model and industry.
· Innovative Mindset: Creative problem-solver with a passion for identifying new ways to optimize processes and improve outcomes.
· Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to present complex data and insights clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
· Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead high-stakes projects, influence stakeholders, and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or other highly analytical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Skills
· Experience working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance and Analytics teams to align sales strategies with broader business goals.
· Self-driven / self-starter. While this role will receive a lot of direction and leadership, we’re looking for a curious and passionate candidate that will come up with ideas on their own and drive outcomes independently.
· Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
· Proven Ability to Execute: Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing initiatives with precision and efficiency, ensuring timely and impactful results.
