Accounting Manager 10686

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the monthly close process including account reconciliations and analysis of general ledger data, audits and capitalization of leases and fixed assets, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and documentation of same
Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and technology integration to enhance and create efficiencies
Analyze consolidated and segment-level financial results to identify trends, variances, and emerging risks
Collaborate with leadership and department heads to develop strategic initiatives and support decision-making processes
Monitor internal controls, including gathering feedback from audit personnel
Develop and enhance reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs for review
Lead, develop and mentor a team of accounting professionals
Complete ad hoc assignments/projects assigned
