Director of Operational Accounting

We are seeking a Director of Operational Accounting to lead accounting operations in a fast-paced, complex environment. This role focuses on financial integrity, process optimization, automation, and building scalable solutions across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including A/P, A/R, fixed assets, inventory, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Lead accounting for capital-intensive projects, cost accounting, and project tracking (EPC contracts).
• Drive automation and implement scalable, technology-driven solutions.
• Ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance.
• Provide executive-level insights and performance analysis.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership, with multi-entity experience.
• Strong expertise in GAAP, cost accounting, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Proven experience in automation, process improvement, and systems (D365, Blackline, OneStream, Coupa, etc.).
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• International accounting/tax experience (e.g., VAT, IFRS) a plus.
