About the Opportunity
Our client, a rapidly growing construction and restoration company, is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their team. This is a highly visible role reporting to the CFO, with the opportunity to directly influence financial reporting, data analytics, and strategic decision-making. As the organization continues to expand through acquisitions, this individual will play a key role in building out FP&A capabilities, improving systems, and driving operational insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and enhance financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain KPI tracking dashboards (e.g., hit rate on opportunities, sales margins by market/job, sales mix, personnel profitability, marketing ROI).
- Automate and streamline reporting processes using Netsuite and Excel; integrate with Tableau and other BI tools.
- Partner with leadership to provide insights that drive operational and financial performance.
- Support the integration of new acquisitions, ensuring accurate reporting and data management.
- Present financial results and analysis through clear reports, presentations, and visualizations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Serve as a Finance + Systems Analyst hybrid – blending technical data skills with strong financial acumen.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience.
- Required: Advanced proficiency in Netsuite and Excel (automation, data extraction, modeling).
- Preferred: Tableau, PowerBI, QuickBooks.
- Experience with KPI reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong ability to build and present reports/dashboards for executive audiences.
- Independent, proactive, and self-motivated; able to take initiative without heavy oversight.
