Investment Accounting Manager 9932
The Investment Accounting Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the accounting processes related to our investment portfolios.
Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting for all investment transactions, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of investment transactions and valuations in compliance with accounting standards and firm policies.
• Prepare and review investment-related financial statements, including portfolio performance reports, valuations, and investment summaries.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and investment policies.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management, including insights on portfolio performance and financial projections.
• Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of investment activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, auditors, and regulatory agencies regarding investment accounting matters

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA is required and CFA designation is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment accounting, with a strong understanding of investment products and financial instruments.
• Proficiency in investment accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
