This position will lead the Supply Chain and Planning departments within company to ensure stability in production planning and inventory management processes

Key responsibilities & duties

• Create a supply strategy to mitigate supply and business risk while increasing efficiency and reducing working capital
• Lead and improve Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
• Collaborate with other departments to close operational gaps.
• Create key partnership relationships with critical long-term suppliers
• Executing on QBR’s with critical suppliers
• Lead major cost reduction efforts through strategic sourcing
• Monitor major commodity indexes and outperform the market for company products
• Ensuring production planning is efficient and level loading across multiple facilities and product lines
• Building and executing on a make vs buy strategy depending upon available internal capacity
• Building a logistics strategy across all intercompany and customer deliveries

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations or equivalent
• 10+ Years of experience leading Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing Operations
• Lean / Six Sigma experience
• MBA a plus
