Overview
The Director of Human Resources is a strategic and vision-driven leader responsible for shaping and advancing the organization’s People and Culture strategy. This role oversees all HR operations, including talent engagement, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Cultivate a high-performing, engaged workforce and strengthen organizational culture.

Partner with leadership to design and implement a strategic People & Culture plan aligned with organizational goals.

Develop and manage the HR operating budget with a focus on investment in people and culture.

Create and administer competitive compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.

Lead strategic recruiting, retention, and talent development initiatives.

Provide guidance to leadership on HR policies, compliance, and employee relations.

Maintain HRIS systems and oversee compliance with federal/state employment laws.

Serve as an advocate for employees and represent the organization with external agencies.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of HR experience.

Experience using talent assessment tools (Predictive Index or similar).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll, and HCM software (Paylocity preferred).

Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.

Knowledge of compensation, benefits, and regulatory compliance.
Work Environment

Primarily office-based, with occasional work in warehouse or outdoor settings.
-
Requires flexibility for some evenings, weekends, and travel.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
