Assistant Controller
November 4, 2024Our Wholesale/Distribution client is looking for a Compensation Specialist. The Compensation Specialist develops, implements, and administers compensation plans to attract, retain, and engage employees. Compiles compensation and other HR data to produce actionable reports.
Responsibilities –
- Oversees the organization’s Compensation function, and collaborates with HR leadership and senior leadership to align compensation programs with overall business goals.
- Benchmark total compensation and provide leadership information regarding direct and indirect compensation trends that may impact recruitment and retention programs.
- Participates in relevant salary studies by providing, collecting, and submitting company compensation data.
Requirements –
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or related discipline (e.g., compensation administration, design, and strategy, or other related field); at least 3 years of Compensation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is preferred, but not required for this role.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) credential is preferred, but not required for this role.
- Knowledge of job analysis and job evaluation systems and processes
- Knowledge of compensation administration principles and methodologies
