Our Energy client in Dallas is seeking an Accountant I. This role is fully in-office in Central Dallas. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
• Oil and Gas Industry experience preferred
• Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
• Strong organizational acumen and communication skills
• Flexibility in approach to role, and willingness to take on projects or shift responsibilities as needed
• Software skills:
  • MS Excel knowledge is required
  • BOLO Oil and Gas Accounting Software is a plus
  • EnergyLink knowledge is a plus

Duties of the position:
 

• Prepare monthly non-operated revenue journal entries
• Ensure accurate monthly reporting of revenue volumes and prices
• Enter monthly GL entries
• Perform monthly GL reconciliations
• Participate in special projects, and prepare ad hoc reports, as required
• Coordinate and communicate with other departments as required
