Job Title: Accountant
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing team. This role will support three unique businesses owned by the same individual: a dance/yoga studio, a spa treatment facility, and a boutique advertising agency. The Accountant will work primarily out of the advertising agency but will also travel to the other locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform General Ledger (GL) accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely entries
• Track and manage inventory
• Prepare and book journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions
• Manage invoicing, ensuring proper billing and timely payments
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure documentation is up-to-date
• Provide financial reports and insights to business owners
• Collaborate with various teams across all three companies to ensure smooth financial operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting preferred; Finance or General Business accepted)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in GL accounting
• Experience with inventory management and tracking is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel to various business locations as needed

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with booking journal entries and investigating discrepancies
• Experience with invoicing
• Experience with tracking inventory
• Strong communication skills to work with different teams across multiple businesses
