About the Role

We are seeking a D365 Developer Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) development and integrations. This role will lead solution design and development, establish engineering standards, mentor developers, and partner with functional and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and code reviews for D365 F&O solutions using X++.

• Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions and Technical Design Documents (TDDs).

• Review Functional Design Documents (FDDs) for technical feasibility and architectural alignment.

• Establish coding standards, development best practices, and quality controls.

• Design and support integrations using OData, data entities, REST, DMF, and batch/real-time integration patterns.

• Support SQL, data integration, and analytics solutions using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Power BI.

• Support integrations with Power Platform, Dataverse, and related Microsoft technologies.

• Troubleshoot complex application, data, and integration issues.

• Lead and mentor developers, assign work, support performance management, and contribute to hiring and onboarding.

• Collaborate with ERP, functional, infrastructure, and business teams throughout planning, development, and release activities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of D365 F&O or Dynamics AX development experience with strong X++ skills.

• Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture, extensibility, and Lifecycle Services (LCS).

• Experience with SQL, OData, data entities, and enterprise system integrations.

• Experience creating TDDs and reviewing FDDs.

• Previous technical leadership or developer mentoring experience.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Fabric/Synapse, Power Platform, Power BI, and Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are a plus.
