We are assisting our client in the search for a Part-time Bookkeeper. This is a 20-30 hour per week position for a landscaping business in Lewisville, TX.
Objectives of this Role
To perform monthly accounting tasks:
- Daily banking transactions as needed.
- Payroll
- Updating Excel templates: Daily Cash Balances, Daily Sales Spreadsheet, Expense Reports, etc.
- Review and post Daily Bank transactions in QuickBooks.
- Download bank statements and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- General ledgers entries.
- Additional tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Intermediate Excel level
- Understanding of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
- 2+ years general accounting experience
- 1+ years’ experience with QuickBooks
