Implementation and Integration Lead

The Chief of Staff to the Chief Technology Officer will work closely with the CTO to ensure the smooth execution of key technology and operational initiatives. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who enjoys connecting strategy to execution and thrives in fast-moving, dynamic environments. In addition, this role will have heavy interaction with members of the leadership team.
The position blends elements of program management, technical coordination, and strategic support — ideal for someone looking to broaden their scope beyond hands-on engineering into leadership and operational impact. The company is a young, fast growing, profitable business with many future opportunities expected. This role is seen as an apprenticeship for leading key aspects of those opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive both IT and operational projects from conception to conclusion with the autonomy to execute as you see fit, coordinating with the executive leadership team on key milestones and timelines.
- Act as a “jack-of-all-trades” driver for technology initiatives — balancing planning, problem-solving, and execution — and a key resource for the CTO.
- Lead or support initiatives such as:
- Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation and identity management integration.
- SOC 2 and other security [protocol] implementation, network configuration, and firewall rule management.
- Security program development, recovery and continuity planning, and SQL database projects.
- Evaluation of new product lines, technologies, or M&A opportunities in collaboration with leadership.
- Maintain key elements of internal systems with an eye for automation and alerts for only out-of-the-ordinary behaviors or events.
- Work with internal teams to identify gaps, remove blockers, and improve cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop lightweight processes for tracking technology projects and surfacing key risks or dependencies.
- Provide hands-on assistance in technical or infrastructure challenges where needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-7 years of strong technical experience – this could include cloud architecture, systems administration, or IT engineering.
- Experience with modern cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and identity management solutions.
- Exhibits strong self-motivation and the capacity to master unfamiliar tasks with minimal guidance.
- Familiarity with SQL databases, system monitoring, and infrastructure automation tools.
- Certifications such as PMP, PMI, Six Sigma, or CSM a plus.
- Strong proficiency with collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Curious, resourceful, and comfortable stepping into new technical domains quickly.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills — able to bring clarity and order to complex initiatives.
