Senior Manager – Fixed Asset Accounting

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager of Fixed Asset Accounting to lead key initiatives in a capital-intensive environment with a focus on data centers and High-Performance Computing (HPC). This role drives transformation across asset management processes, automation, policy development, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fixed asset accounting policies and controls.
• Lead automation and systems integration to streamline asset processes.
• Manage legacy asset cleanup and physical inventory accuracy.
• Oversee CIP tracking and timely asset capitalization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance) to align asset tracking with project milestones.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Mentor a high-performing accounting team.
• Contribute to capital planning and forecasting with FP&A and Tax.
• Participate in ERP and tool integration (e.g., D365, Coupa, Alteryx).
• Stay current on GAAP and fixed asset best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• 8+ years of accounting leadership, with expertise in fixed assets.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Tech-savvy with experience in high-tech or capital-intensive industries.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
