Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our technology environment. In this critical role, you will act as the primary liaison with our external IT services provider, ensuring seamless delivery of IT support, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and project execution. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, strategic thinker, and hands-on leader with a track record of managing vendor relationships and delivering reliable internal support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Relationship Management:
- Lead and manage our partnership with the external IT vendor (Thrive Network), ensuring compliance with SLAs and high standards of service across helpdesk, network, cybersecurity, and administrative functions.
- Project Leadership:
- Lead and support IT initiatives, including infrastructure upgrades and system implementations. Own end-to-end execution and due diligence across cross-functional projects.
- Internal IT Operations:
- Provide first-line in-house IT support, including workstation imaging, inventory management, user onboarding/offboarding, and issue escalation.
- Security & Network Oversight:
- Coordinate with the vendor to maintain strong cybersecurity protocols and ensure network resilience. Oversee Active Directory group management and access controls.
- Technology Enablement:
- Manage the procurement and lifecycle of hardware and software. Support enterprise application configuration, implementation, and performance.
- Customer Service Focus:
- Deliver responsive, high-quality internal IT support and maintain a user-first mindset in all interactions.
- Strategic Support:
- Assist the CIO in IT budgeting, vendor evaluations, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations and support roles
- Demonstrated experience leading IT projects and managing external vendors
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, cybersecurity best practices, and system administration
- Proven ability to manage helpdesk operations and implement process improvements
- Familiarity with managing AD groups, workstation imaging, and enterprise IT support
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment
- Experience providing internal IT support and managing IT asset inventory
- Experience working in a fully or partially outsourced IT environment
- Understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks
