June 2, 2025Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Systems Support Senior Manager based in Dallas to lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of configuration, integration, utilization, and reporting related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
This is a hands-on leadership role that blends project management expertise, operational finance acumen, and systems knowledge to drive scalable and sustainable enhancements across the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, IT, and Operations teams to ensure finance system requirements are aligned with business objectives, process efficiencies are achieved, and system capabilities are maximized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Module Support:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for D365 financial modules—overseeing configurations, ensuring system functionality, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance user experience, and implement best practices for financial system operations.
- System Maintenance:
- Assist with regular D365 updates and configuration changes, including testing and deployment of enhancements.
- End-User Support:
- Respond to user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training to promote effective use of D365 across departments.
- Vendor & Support Coordination:
- Act as the primary liaison with the external technical support team. Manage work prioritization and ensure service-level agreement (SLA) compliance.
- Integration Oversight:
- Partner with IT, ERP, and Security teams to manage and improve system integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop and maintain financial and operational reports, delivering actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (Master’s or CPA is a plus but not required).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes and systems integration.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience configuring and managing D365 (Certification strongly preferred).
- Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Solid grasp of financial and supply chain management principles.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and reporting systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical approach to process improvement.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
