We are seeking a German-speaking Payroll Consultant with deep expertise in German payroll practices to support a Dayforce Payroll Implementation project. This is a client-side role, meaning you will not be responsible for system configuration—the Dayforce implementation team will handle all technical configuration. Instead, you will act as a liaison and subject matter expert, ensuring the client’s internal team understands Dayforce functionality, payroll processes, and compliance requirements specific to Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary payroll advisor for the client during their Dayforce implementation in Germany.
- Provide expert guidance on German payroll regulations, statutory compliance, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the client’s internal team to translate payroll needs into system requirements and review configured solutions for accuracy.
- Assist the client in understanding Dayforce outputs, payroll flows, and operational processes.
- Validate that the configured system meets local compliance and organizational needs.
- Serve as a bridge between the client and the Dayforce implementation team to flag issues and validate solutions.
- Support the client team during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and go-live readiness activities.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both German and English (verbal and written) is required.
- Extensive knowledge of German payroll legislation, tax systems, and statutory reporting.
- Experience in global payroll projects, ideally including Dayforce or similar platforms.
- Strong client-facing experience in advisory or payroll support roles.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally with global stakeholders.
- Consulting experience in payroll implementations or transitions is a strong plus.
