The ETF Sales Specialist is responsible for driving the sales and distribution of ETF products. This role involves collaborating with the Head of ETF Distribution and both internal and external sales teams. You'll build relationships with financial advisors and institutional investors to promote ETF offerings and achieve sales targets.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase ETF market penetration.
- Identify and target potential clients, including financial advisors, institutions, and wealth managers.
- Collaborate with internal & external sales teams to execute marketing campaigns.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Provide clients with detailed product information, market insights, and investment strategies.
Product Education and Support:
- Educate clients on ETF features, benefits, and investment strategies.
- Conduct presentations, webinars, and phone calls to enhance client understanding.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and products to position ETFs effectively.
- Use insights to inform sales strategies and client interactions.
Collaboration:
- Work with marketing, product development, and research teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
- Provide feedback from clients to help refine sales strategies.
Performance Tracking:
- Track sales performance against targets and report on metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Licenses/Certifications Required:
- Must be series 7 licensed.
Minimum Experience Required:
- 5-7 years of experience in sales within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of ETFs, investment products, and market dynamics.
- Experience working with RIAs, Hybrid RIAs, Independent, and Wirehouses is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
