Responsible for a variety of accounting functions and reports to the Controller.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and propose necessary journal entries to support the balances.
- Analyzes and manages information from 3rd party accounting group.
- Assists in developing management reports.
- Prepares payments for accruing expenses, assigning account numbers, and requesting disbursements.
- Research accounts payable issues and take any necessary corrective action.
- Communicate with vendors as necessary.
- Prepare bank wires, transfers and ACHs.
- Set up policies and procedures for the accounts payable process.
- Monitor cash and credit card transactions.
- Manage financial set-up of new locations.
- Special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in accounting and office management.
- Minimum 3-5 years of job-related experience.
- Restaurant or hospitality industry experience a plus.
- NetSuite experience a plus.
