The Compensation Analyst supports the company’s compensation strategy by analyzing market data, ensuring competitive pay structures, and administering compensation programs that attract and retain top talent. This position also collaborates closely with HR, finance, and leadership teams to ensure our compensation practices align with business goals and comply with regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES:
- Salary Administration: Monitor, evaluate, and administer employee salaries, merit increases, and salary adjustments according to company policies and market conditions.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze compensation-related data to generate insights, identify trends, and make recommendations. Prepare reports for management review.
- Job Evaluation: Review, evaluate, and classify job descriptions to ensure proper alignment with compensation structures and market standards.
- Market Analysis & Benchmarking: Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive and fair pay practices within the manufacturing industry.
- Compensation Planning: Support the development and implementation of salary structures, incentive plans, and other compensation programs that align with company goals.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all compensation practices comply with local, state, and federal laws, as well as industry standards. Maintain documentation and records related to compensation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, finance, and department managers to provide compensation guidance, resolve queries, and support talent acquisition efforts.
- Compensation Communication: Assist in developing materials and presentations to communicate compensation policies and changes effectively to employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with compensation survey tools (e.g., Mercer, Aon Radford) and proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, benchmarking, and market surveys.
- Knowledge of relevant labor laws, wage and hour laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualization tools.
