Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Travel and Expense Coordinator assists with managing and administering the corporate sponsored credit card, purchasing, travel programs, and electronic expense reporting tool. Having a focus on administration, reporting, analysis, training, and employee site management.
Priorities include expense analysis of company cost, operational improvement, and facilitating the implementation process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily coordination of corporate credit card program
- Monitors secured accounts to limit corporate liability and communicates any related issues to appropriate managers
- Monthly Reconciliations
- Problem solves customer service issues related to electronic expense reporting or corporate credit card program
- Assist with training sessions for electronic expense reporting tool
- Watching Daily Declines and communication with cardholders to rectify
- Creating and updating presentations
- Address and resolve issues or complaints timely and efficiently for internal and external parties
- Following procedure for terminated employees (i.e. closing corporate card, final expense assistance)
- Support with questions in implementation of travel and expense policies
- Cost reduction analysis and recoup of funds from discrepancies with vendors
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong customer services skills and good oral communications are a must to perform this job.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets, financial reports, MS Office, ERPs, and accounting software
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
- Ability to stay well organized, prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 3-5 years administrative experience working in a team environment.
- Requires data analysis experience, training experience, decision making skills, high level of versatility, ability to work independently.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word a must.
