A well-established organization is seeking an experienced, business-focused Senior Software & Data Engineer to help design scalable data solutions, develop analytical capabilities, and enable process automation and AI-driven initiatives. This position will partner closely with technology leadership, executive stakeholders, and business users to translate business needs into sustainable, reusable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technology leadership to envision, create, and review data architecture and related technical designs.
• Serve as a key liaison between technology and business stakeholders, including executive leadership, translating business requirements into scalable analytical models and technical solutions.
• Develop reusable datasets and solutions that support ongoing business analysis rather than relying on one-off reporting.
• Personally develop and deliver production-quality code supporting process automation, predictive analytics, and other business applications.
• Help ensure high-quality, reliable data is available for business users to access and derive actionable insights.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing code and solutions.
• Establish and follow automated testing best practices in collaboration with the software development team.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance on team submissions as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong business orientation and experience in data architecture, data structures, and data models.
• In-depth experience with C#, SQL, and Python, including application architecture and ownership.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software development, including the ability to validate AI-generated solutions.
• Understanding of how data should be structured and prepared for AI consumption.
• Experience with agentic AI workflows is highly preferred.
• Experience designing and building solutions for Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced development environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with senior stakeholders and navigate conflict effectively.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
